Call for Abstract Submissions

Join leading experts in thoracic medicine and share your research at the ETS Annual Congress 2026. We invite healthcare professionals, researchers, and academics to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations.

  • Showcase Your Work: Present your research to a global audience of respiratory specialists.
  • Podium Presentation: Authors of the best three selected abstracts will have podium presentations of their work.
  • Poster Presentation: All selected abstracts will be displayed at the conference venue, with authors presenting as per the schedule.
  • Gain Recognition: Enhance your professional profile and gain recognition for your work.

  • Submission Deadline: September 15, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: October 15, 2026

  • Originality: All submissions must be original work and must not have been previously submitted or presented elsewhere.
  • Title: Concise and descriptive.
  • Authors: Include names, affiliations, and contact details.
  • Abstract Body: Maximum 300 words, structured as follows:
    • Background
    • Methods
    • Results (tables and figures are inclusive)
    • Conclusion
  • Keywords: Up to five keywords.
  • Format: Submit in PDF or Word document format.

  • Prepare Your Abstract: Follow the guidelines above.
  • Visit ETS 2026 Conference Website - Abstract Submission:
  • Complete the Submission Form: Upload your abstract and provide the required information.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.

Submission Opens:
•    June 2026, TBA | The exact date in June is yet to be announced. Keep monitoring official communications for confirmation.

Submission Closes: 
•    September 16, 2026 | Final day for submitting abstracts/papers. Submissions received after this date may not be considered.

Acceptance Notification: 
•    October 15, 2026 | Authors will be informed whether their submission has been accepted.

Conference Dates: 
•    October 30 – November 1, 2026 | The official days of the conference for planning travel, accommodation, and participation.

  • Use large fonts for visibility.
  • Include graphs, charts, and/or tables.
  • Ensure content has a logical flow covering Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • E-Posters will be displayed onsite and digitally.
  • All content must be in English.

  • Abstract submission deadline: September 16, 2026
  • All abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • The presenting author is responsible for timely submission and communication with co-authors.
  • Accepted presenting authors must be available to present physically at the conference on October 30 – November 1, 2026.
  • Presenting authors must register and complete payment by the indicated deadline; otherwise, abstracts will be removed.
  • Presentation types or themes may be adjusted based on review outcomes.
